Ankle Lock

The Ankle Lock can be a potent submission if applied correctly. The initial stages are similar to that of the Knee Bar but once their leg is held by your own, you place their foot in your armpit, holding it there with your forearm on their lower calf, near the Achilles tendon. By pushing your hips forward and using your forearm as leverage you place pressure on the Achilles tendon whilst achieving the lock at the same time.
