Carp Fishing The German TT Rig

Carp Fishing The German TT Rig

Hello there. I’ve been using this rig for
a while now and it’s the Turbo Tweaked German Rig. I saw it for the first time on the Gardner
YouTube Channel when Lewis tied it and explained a bit about the rig. I was fishing the park
lake and I wasn’t really catching anything on the Ronnie Rig that I am a big fan of.
So, I tied this one on and in quick succession I had five or six fish on this rig. So it
went from there. It’s a rig, it’s quite simple, it’s easy to tie. It’s nearly the same as the
Ronnie Rig only it doesn’t have a flexi-ring and I use it. Well you mainly use it with
a wafter or a bottom bait and it works really well. The tying of this rig is very simple
it’s kind of a Ronnie Rig without like I said the flexi-ring. I just mount the micro ring
swivel, a hook stop, some shrink tube and a C-Lok swivel and that’s about it the hook
end. Normally I use the Ultra Skin Soft, depending on the bottom I sometimes use the Ultra Skin
Stiff and sometimes I play around with the hook patterns as well. I mainly use the Mugga,
but I use the Talon Tip as well and you can even use an Incizor if you want. It’s up to
you. Every Gardner hook hooks anyway as they are all very good hooks, but my favourite
is the Mugga. I would try this rig when other rigs don’t work or when your Ronnie Rig isn’t
working. I caught some nice fish over the last couple of weeks on this rig because the
Ronnie Rig wasn’t working, so I would give this rig a try if everything else fails and
yeah, I am sure you will catch many more fish on this rig.
