  1. I hate it when the others are saying this movie makes me CRINGE or when kids should not watch this or this the most horrible movie ever but they did hard work for this movie. But this is an awesome movie!

  2. I went and saw this movie a couple of day ago with my younger sister, mum and nanny (grandma). I'm saying as a 16 year old girl that I really enjoyed this movie and so did the two adults with me. We all thought that it was very good and hilarious. I say this because, even though it looks like it would be 'just for kids' in reality people of all different ages can still enjoy this movie! Well done, I loved it πŸ™‚

  3. I just went to watch it after watching this trailer. i have to say it was beyond horrible! I am 27 and I love cartoon movies more than any other genre but this one was so bad. the characters were cute and so was the bright colors and the ideas except for the storyline itself. I couldn't wait for it to be over. My daughter is 3 years old and loved it. so that was worth it. To me it was mostly aimed for grownups on drugs.

  4. I don't understand why most people hate it. I have seen the movie earlier and it was funny, hilarious, light hearted and there's a moral deeper than what the movie interprets. Check it out people, it's fun!

  5. Saw this with my son last week. Contrary to people thinking it's only for kids, it really isn't.

My 5 year old son is autistic, and has a hard time coveying his emotions or even speaking about them. We sat down in the theatre and he watched the whole thing without saying a word, which is big for him. At the end, the lights came on, I looked at him and asked if he liked it, and he was crying.

I was worried so I asked what was wrong. He said "I just so happy daddy" and gave me a big long hug. It was a first moment for both of us.

The movie has an incredible message, one that I think grow ups forget. To always be hopeful and have fun in life, instead of worrying and focusing on all the bad things that could/will happen. 5/5 for me.

  6. did y'all notice that poppy in the beginning was going to be queen in the beginning of the movie , she had the crown and gown on. but in the movie she doesn't become queen until the end of the movie? weird

  7. You know, I'm surprised how much hate this got. This movie was AWESOME. I loved the music, the message, the fun little jokes, I thought it was really great. And a lot of people have no idea how hard it was to make this movie. Pieces of it were scrapbooked by hand, and the rest was animated to look handmade. It's a beautifully visual piece of art that I think deserves more credit. I think it's a great DreamWorks film and so does Anna Kendrick (Poppy) and Justin Timberlake (Branch) Both of them said that it was so much fun to voice act and play around with the characters. I think people should give this movie more credit.

  8. On one hand we have political-correctness police which leads to this kind of bullshit, on the other hand we have rise of Fascism across all countries.
    No wonder we are fucked.

  9. This movie really surprised me. It was hilarious and adorable. This should have got nominated for an Academy Award for best animated feature.

  10. i dont understand whats all this hate for? I loved the movie to bits. Its beautiful, adventurous, emotional and what not!

  13. If you look closely, you will see that before Poppy ate the berry that made her get spots, she already had the spots
