‘Uploading routes and tracks’

Hello, and welcome to
this video on: How to upload your route and track
file to MyRoute-app. Once you are logged in to MyRoute-app you will
be in Routelab. Here you can click on upload. And this little small screen will pop-up. You will see, import route
file and import track file. If you want to import a track file please
click on import track file and dont import it as a routefile because it will
load up as a route and not as a track. Lets start with the routefile. Privacy mode, do we want this route to be
public, just for my friends or private? I am going to go with public for now. This route is a driving route,
so Ill click on driving. But if you have a route for cycling or
hiking. Please click on those accordingly. Also note that the supported
file formats are listed here. Please only upload these file
formats, as other formats wont work. The recommended file format for
MyRoute-app is the .GPX file. Once that is settled please choose
your file from within your computer. I am going to choose this file. Test route video. GPX
As you can see it is a GPX file. Click on it, open. The route is listed under here. You can rename the route, I am going
to rename this: Test Route Course. As you can see the route is 817 KB. If you click import the route will
automatically save to your route archive. As you can see overhere. You can open the route. You can also
rename it again, if you’d like. Open the route by clicking on it.
And as you can see this is the route. Now we will do the same with a track file.
Go back to Routelab. Click on upload, import track file.
Lets make it private. It is a driving route still, because we are going to upload the same file. Test route, open.
Once again, GPX file. Click import. We are not going
to change the name of this one. And we’re going to click
on the track file. And now it opened the route as track.
